Yes, although it’s welded on and designed to be worn forever, permanent bracelets can be removed. If you do need to remove it, you can visit us in store to have it cut by someone from our dedicated welding team, or carefully at home yourself using nail clippers.

Although they’re called ‘permanent’ bracelets, there’s no need to worry about the idea of making a decision that you may later regret. A permanent bracelet will stay on your wrist as long as you want it to and can still be easily removed if you decide you no longer want to wear it.

We offer permanent chain bracelets in 9ct yellow gold, white gold and rose gold, as well as sterling silver and yellow gold-filled. Any connectors or personalised charms you decide to add – from birthstones to hearts and initials – are priced individually and start from £30.
What to Expect During the Application Process
So, how does a permanent bracelet work? Firstly, you’ll need to book an appointment in one of our participating H.Samuel stores. The process is quick, easy and completely painless! It involves welding both ends of your chosen chain around the wrist to ensure a perfect fit. Because it doesn’t have a clasp, it can't be taken on and off like regular bracelets.
