To mark World Cancer Day on 4th February, we're shining a light on Young Lives vs Cancer. Our charity partner stops at nothing to make sure children and young people with cancer get the right care and support, at the right time.
Many of the policies and systems in place make it hard to meet the unique needs of children and young people with cancer. Whether it’s debt piling up or savings being wiped out, day-to-day struggles can become unmanageable. But from the moment of diagnosis, Young Lives vs Cancer social workers can help the families receive grants to help with the costs that come with it.

Ways to support Young Lives vs Cancer this World Cancer Day
Join thousands of others taking on the challenge of a cold water dip for World Cancer Day on 4 February. The challenge is simple. Organise your own dip with friends and family and simply brave the cold of the sea, a lido, or river this World Cancer Day.
Your dip will help make sure children and young people with cancer, and their families, can stay together this winter in the charity’s Homes from Home close to their specialist cancer treatment centres.
